Hi Steve,
Good to see another bible added to the forum. For the next version you could change the driveshaft torque value from 350Nm (the original factory setting) to 230Nm as the value was reduced a few years ago. Handy for those with smaller torque wrenches.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Excellent write up Steve!
When I did mine it took a bit of encouragement from a big persuader for the hub to come off There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.
That writeup is much appreciated. I am not a do it yourself type but I like to know what and how the work is to be done - kind of know what to expect.
Re the 130 - 150k comment, is that miles or kilometres? My 2005 LR3 has about 145,000 kilometres on it now and soon needs new discs and pads - hence maybe I should consider doing the hubs as well.
I have noted comments on other forums re bearing problems so your pdf is timely and the wheel bearing question is a concern even though all seems well.2005 LR3 HSE 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol; Traxide Dual Battery; PIAA 2500K Yellow Ion H11 Fog Light bulbs; CounterAct LT-2 Capacitive Corrosion control; LLumar AIR80 Blue clear Infra Red blocking side window film; Liftgate manual release; Schrader Valve "air in" mod to OEM air suspension reservoir tank; Akebono ceramic pads; OEM solid vented discs; LR4 design hitch receiver; Wiggs D4 MOST bluetooth module; Clock on the Dash; 3 Flash signal light mod; Backup Camera; 2015/16 Nav Data update.
