how do you find out what type of silver is my D3 2005

how do you know what colour your car is mine is silver but i understand there are 2 versions of silver so how to tell which one is mone silly question i know but need to know as i want to buy colour coded tailgate cover Landrover Discovery 3 TDV6 S 7 seat Automatic

Does it not say on the sticker on the front horizontal structure when the bonnet is open? Mine tells me it is zambezi silver.

Don't for God's sake paint it based on the DVLA log book entry - Mine just says "GOLD".Laughing

They're short on typing fingers in Wales I think If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Open the bonnet and look on the slam panel to the left of the bonnet catch, should show the colour code and name.
As DG says if yours is a 05MY it'll be Zambezi Silver, AFAIR Zermat came out late 2006 with the 07MY The End
