Almost anything can be done, depending on time, money & skill. Since you have the base model, you'll be needing a *lot* of parts. Have a look at this recent thread and consider contacting IanNP & Flack. Good luck!

I am at present gathering the parts (it's a hard slog as ones in breakers have already been stripped, and not a lot out there, eBay has come good for new radio unit\screen but amp is being illusive (there is one on eBay but he wants just 50 quid shy of new price.)

Then wiring Big Cry

If your doing the whole lot then this is what you need presuming you have nothing in the car.

You should have the 6 cd IHU head to even think about the screen fit.

Touch Screen
Amp
DVD/Sat Nav unit
MOST cable form centre consul to IHU & Screen if you don't want TMC & Bluetooth.

The easy way is to find a donar car and cut all the connecters off with pigtails ie:

Grey connecter for Touch Screen
Blue fakra connecter for Video
Grey connecter for Sat Nav unit
Blue Fakre video out plug from Sat Nav Unit.
Fakra Blue GPS connecter from Sat Nav Unit.
GPS antenna go for RSS as they have both GPS & Phone.
Sat Nav Mounting tray under passenger seat.
Speed Pulse wire form Sat Nav grey plug to ABS module engine bay

Optional
TMC Amp
TMC Aerial
Bluetooth Unit.
Voice switch on steering wheel L/H side
Phone switch Steering wheel R/H side.
If you do install TMC & Bluetooth then you will need more MOST cable from centre consul to the amp and then to the rear of the car for both units TMC/BT.

Then loads of patience to do it all...

Flack Thumbs Up

I'd save the money, sure it looks nice but in my experience the OE sat-nav itself is pretty rubbish compared to even a basic TomTom.

For an integrated look you could just use a surround trim from the GS D4 to mount a TomTom properly, I believe a few folks have done this.
