Recently, I have noticed that on acceleration I am getting a vibration from the offside front wheel. It is fine when driving normally or on light acceleration. I have notice that it reappears under braking and I get a slight scraping noise on the offside front brake disk.
This morning I have collected it from MOT and it got an advisory on a split rubber on the offside track rod end (I am not suggesting this could be the cause - just providing all the info I have)
Any ideas what may be causing this? Could it be a wheel bearing with play in it? Porsche 968 Cabrio

Had this on mine after a big trip around Northumberland. Went up with new pads so when I got home I removed the offending wheel and ran a bit of curtain wire between the disc and the backplate. Bingo! Flinty bit of stone dropped out. No more scraping noises.
