auxilary driving lamps
Hi , i have just bought a 2005 discovery 3 which came with a landrover a frame- bull bar and a pair of landrover auxilary driving lamps, upon examination i have found that the lamps are not connected up, but they do have the wiring and connectors ready to connect up .
where do i plug them in ? are there prewired connectors already on the vehicle to accept the extra lamps or will i have to wire them up myself.
as i say all extras are Landrover genuine parts .
many thanks Iain

wiring up
Hi
If its a genuineLR kit you will have an independant switch with an orange light on to the left of your instrament binnicle remember even although you have all the bits there you will have to get your spotlights enabled by someone with either autologicdealer IDS or a faultmate or your lamps wont work
cheers
I found this thread re wiring the genuine driving lights. There are others, use +driving +lights as your search word in the box that pops up after you click on the word Search above.
The wiring install is not an easy task - that is why merely the lights were installed. One gets the look during the day and at night, well I guess it does not matter.

lights
hi , just read that thread on wiring , and as you say i can see why the lights have not been wired up !
i think its a job for a day when theres no rush to get the disco back out the garage and the kids are well out the way so they dodnt here the old mans moaning .
good thread though should be able to manage the job but the one connector sounds a right pain , bit of a having to get ecu sorted though ill have to see if someone other than my local dealer can sort that one .
cheers Iain
