as anyone had dealings with Warranty Direct ,£500 fro a 12months seems ro cover just about everything

Search for them in the warranty and finance section.
Most of the recent threads seem to head towards the "I've been had by WD", especially the one where a member ended up spending c. £9K getting a new engine fitted.
No problems with WD myself, recently paid a £1k claim with no issuesThe End

I guess you just have to read the policies carefully before you make your choice, that is what they are there for, no good crying when it all goes wrong and you are not covered for something you thought you would be, if they will not supply that comprehensive document then don't buy that one, easy

Ditto, over 2k claimed & paid, no probs. Incl new turbo.
They will cover it off road (as long as it's not for competitive use etc.) just talk to them about it and ask them to state on the policy docs that off-road use is coveredThe End

where are you geting the work done ,a garage of there listing or one of your own.
