Shiny and Bright?
When I do find my ideal D3 penis extension and want to bling it up what is the best good quality product that others use or recommend as the best?
Usually use Auto Glym stuff on the Volvo but want only the best for the D3, so what's good, what's to avoid and are there any trade type secrets out there we should know about?
Thanks all,
Regards,
D

The one thing many people don't do before a polish is to clay. I personally use Menzerna polishes or the Megs 105/205 combo along with CG Hex pads. To really get the paintwork alive, apply a glaze and then for protection use either Vics Concours or Megs #16.
Since winter's coming, you might want to use Colli 476 or 845 to protect your paint from road salt.Visit my car detailing blog at http://maksimumdetail.wordpress.com

For simplicity you might want to look at this:

I usually by my stuff from these guys and for more information you can also visit www.detailingworld.co.uk.
Claying will remove contaminants embedded into the paintwork that normal washing cannot remove. It is an essential step in preparing for the polishing stage. You only need to do it once or twice a year but it will 'exfoliate' your paintwork.
