Afternoon all,
brother just rang and had his tracking done after fitting 4 new tyres during week. He says the pull to the left is so bad, that if he driving on dual carriage way that by taking his hand off the wheel he can go from the fast lane to slow lane in less than 4 seconds until he has to grab the wheel and stop it from running into the verge. he took it back to where it was done and they say its being done to within the tolerances allowed and redone it seemingly. i have heard of pulling to the left but this sounds beyomd extreme. anything basic that could be wrong, other than just poor workmanship!
TIA

Certainly haven't noticed any uneven tyre wear....fronts (scorpions zeros)are pretty evenly worn and being a soft compound,I would guess they would show uneven wear more than other harder tyres ?
I would say the pull,at times, can be as dramatic as your brother is experiencing, but not under all road conditions.
I am very sensitive to any changes to the driving experience of any car I have owned, and I think the front end is more "floaty" under hard acceleration than it was before it was re-aligned....but maybe that is just because I was used to the old driving feeling ? Mine was pulling quite severly to the left and in fact even the steering wheel was quite a bit of centre. Had 4 wheel alignment done and steering wheel now straight and car not pulling left at all. I was quite amazed by the effect the tracking has.
Hope it gets fixed soon as its blooming annoying when it is out.
Cheers...

Haroosh, out of interest where did you get it done ?
Andy White recommends CLCM Edinburgh (after he has put it into tight tolerance mode first) "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I got it done at Landybank Tyres (in Ladybank funnily enough) for around £60. Guys couldnt be more helpful and gave me a print out of the before and after results to take away.
Definately going back there for my tyres - which are imminent!!!!! - eeek!!!!!

Brother got the tyre shop to do his after they fitted the tyres, so there adamant that everything is correct even if it is pulling towards the ditch & badly at that. I told him to go to LR with it, but its the hassel of getting off work and trying to get to a dealer, as not too many left in ireland now so few and far between! and personally of the few that are left, iv tried 3 but would only have faith in 1!

A full Land Rover 4 wheel alignment apparently has a book time of 3 hours!
One local dealer quoted me £300+ to do it. A couple of others quoted £110 and about £95-140 depending on time taken (from memory). Both of these said it normally takes 1 - 1½ hours.
There are quite a few threads on this already. But quite possibly, this could be where the problem is? D4 XS MY12 Galway

Neeeds to be put into tight tolerence mode before the alignment is done. Needs Autologic or IDS (LR) to do it. Tyre place did not know this. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The guys at Ladybank took a good hour and half and adjusted all wheels at least a couple of times to get back in line. And it was £60. Sounds like others are charging alot of money to do it???

Hi Irishrover, assuming that the tracking is correct, try swapping the wheels, back to the front, and vice versa. It might cure the problem.
