I've just had the General Grabber AT put on mine
I'm thoroughly impressed, I came from Scorpion Zeros and towards the end of life they wandered all over the road and must have got progressively worse in terms of comfort as these new tyres have totally and utterly transformed the ride.
It's like a brand new car all over again.
Even the Mrs noticed that they were far more comfortable.
In terms of noise I think these are better as the zeros wore they too must have become more noisy but it's that progressive you would never notice.
At the end of the day tyres are a very personal choice ! And with most things that you spend your hard earned on you have to like them otherwise you will never be happy with them.
Have a good look and keep us posted with which ones you decide ?Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Rrunning General Grabber AT on my D3, the car feels tighter than before when I had P zero's on, maybe slightly more road noise but driving / braking very positive

Mine cost me £590 which is expensive ? Or so I am lead to believe.
This included alloy wheel wash in the dishwasher spinny thing.
Valves and balanced with adhesive weights !
I was quoted nearly £800 for a set of four from a company up your way ?
That was for 18" ones 19's will prob be more expensive !
Grab a few quotes and let us all know.Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I have just had a set of 4 General Grabber ATs in 255 55 19 fitted to my D3. They are great and as mentioned earlier my wife said she could tell the difference between them and our previous (heavily worn) Scorpions. Cost £700 all in fitted inc VAT.2006 TDV6 HSE

Here's a copy of Ken's independent tyre test for your perusal:
Tyres Tested
17- Road
235/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler HP
235/70/17 Continental 4x4 Contact
18-All Terrain
General AT2 255/60/18
Pirelli ATR 255/60/18
Also tried Cooper LTZ 285/60R18
19 All Terrain
General AT's 255-55-19
Pirelli ATR 255-55-19
19 Road
Good Year 255-55-19
Scorpion Zero 255-55-19
19 Mud
Good year MTR's
19 Winter
Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow
Continental WinterCross
Vredestein Wintrac 4 Extreme
After quite a bit of Conventional & UnConventional testing the preferred & Overall winner Was the Pirelli ATR in 255/60/18 suffered the best mileage least amounts of punctures and side wall rips For those that will ask the General AT's offered no real betterment than the AT2 the tyre is a good tyre its just the side-walls can let you down in certain circumstances its up to the owner to decide if they are going to put the D3 in those situations. There are a plethora of tyre choices that we did not try as they would not be any use for us. Winters No real difference Over Conti / Pirelli we have been informed that we will have Nokians for next season thou
There will be peeps saying its rigged etc etc we did this for our own reasons to ensure I make the right decision for my own fleet not for your own car you guys asked I've told you you might not like the answers but there they are I stress the tyres work for me You all have your own brains to make you own choice Gone

Changed my worn Scorpions to General AT's on 19" and you can tell the difference straight away.
Makes it look more 4x4 too

Hi all,
I went for a set of Pirelli Scorpions ATR on my 19" wheels.
£800 fitted and so far so good.
No real difference on the roads/motorway than the Scorpion Zeros.
Not tried them off road yet, but should be fine.
Many thanks
JC.
