perhaps it varies by model? I am sure our 2007 HSE has one touch down on the passender side, not sure about up, will have to try it next time I can wrestle the key from the wife!

So is it a switching module that can be found on a breaker...or just not possible, and I should return to the trusty Van?

not wishing to appear rude to a new d3 owner, but just get on and enjoy it rather than looking for its shortcomings afterall its a 2005 vehicle and like all manufacturers, things move on.

Ah but, part of the joy of owning a D3 is the ability to upgrade it. That's what half the threads on here are about (the other half being, sadly, how to diagnose what's gone wrong with it ). Nobody really seems to know how the one-touch windows work though (or at least, nobody's letting on)...2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)
2005 D3 S 10-12 (gone and missed)

Exactly! whats the secret......or do you need to be a serious LR nut?
Is it a relay...some fancy electronics...or like here on the farm a small furry creature that plays with the electrics??
(My J reg discos windows only work now while doing a sharp right turn).....oh and the 127 special ed flat back...has maual windows, that are now up or down, with just one quarter turn.....
The Series two slidy windows are great they just open as you drive...
Things have moved on...but with the others tucked up in a barn,(windows stuck open) I am looking for some refinement which an 05 Astra van has,
so how do I get it on a High spec Disco of teh same age?

Your only option is to p/ex the D3 for an Astra! The Bearded Dragon
it became available in 2008 (and I'm assuming we're talking about one-touch passenger windows
I don't ever need a "one-touch" full opening so have never looked for it on my 2007 XS. However, today I was just about to lower the passenger window when I had to make a grab at maps falling from the sun-visor, and the passenger window opened fully. What had happened was I had only just touched the switch - experimenting shows it requires just the lightest of touches to open fully. Anthing more and it stops on release. So you chaps with earlier models who have not had it work, try a very gentle touch, less perhaps than you use on a computer keyboard, and see what happens.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

My 07 has it on both front windows, and one touch up. (Not the biggest fan of the one touch up, considering the switch placement)17 Discovery 5 HSE Si6, Fuji White on brown | 07 LR3 SE 4.4 Java Black on Alpaca
