fitting the land rover warn winch kit
does anyone have experience of fitting the land rover winch kit to disco 3?

I have the fitting instructions but wondered if there is anything to look out for. Hindsight is golden!
As with all these pictorial instructions, they only make sense to someone who has done the install! There are quite a few things I would do different if doing it again - and we only fitted the Warn tray as used in the LR kit, but with a straightforward Chinese winch wired off the second battery.
It's surprising how easily the branchpiece for the headlight washers fractures, and how difficult it is to get some of the bolts into place until one realises how to do it, Lots of dry space helps, as does raising the front a bit more than off-road height. And the LR bumper cut out is far bigger than needed, if one cuts to suit the winch rather than the template it looks a lot neater.
