Hi carl,
This can be caused by many things. Sad

The first thing to check is that all the brake lights are working. Or have you recently replaced one? If so, make sure that you replace that bulb with a good quality one (the LR bulbs are good).

If none of the bulbs are working, this probably means that the brake switch is faulty. Replace that and all may be OK.

I know this sounds like a crazy direction to take, but faulty brake lights/switch can give rise to all sorts of faults.

HTH,
Peter
