Nostalgia, nah... I like to reminisce about the future...
...like tomorrow when I get to drive it again.
So what do I like best about it - apart from the way it looks etc etc...
Driving it of course 8)Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

I like the suspension change, from access mode, open door, change to off road mode, get out, close door, watch it rise!

Huh?
I don't understand. "access mode, open door, change to off road mode". You can't raise it with the door open?
Please explain.

if you are in access mode and open the door, then push the toggle forward twice. Get out close the door then it will raise. simple.
A great way to show off the air suspension. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Hmmm...I like the tailgate. For left hand drive cars, the notch allows excellent visability (when rear seats are down as they should be), the extended overhang allows great rain protection at outdoor events, the notch makes it easy to reach items in the back, controls are light and simple, it doesn't get you dusty when sitting on the tailgate, and it's a great picnic table.
A close second would be the little LED light in the overhead console that gently illuminates the dashboard/centerconsole area.
and the ticket clips at the windshield. And the pen clip in the glovebox, and the Traction Control, and the nimble parking lot agility to nick into tight spaces.
But I think my absolute favorite part of my LR3 is the look on spectators faces when I make up some knarly off road trail and make it look easy. That is priceless.
