I was thinking about these. Agreed thet look the same as D3 wheels. I phoned a couple of dealers to see if they are exactly the same. This was a bit inconclusive but one delar did mention that the part nos are different between the two vehicles and that he thought there was something different about the hub.
Well, I've agreed with the seller (of the RRS wheels) to buy them now anyway. We split the difference between my bid and the reserve. I guess I'll find out pretty soon whether or not the RRS ones will work on my D3! If they don't, I'll just re list them, and learn a valuable lesson.
Got them back home on Sunday, but can't have a go at fitting them until next weekend. They certainly look the same as the ones on my car.
The tread on them's actually pretty good. You can tell which were at the front and which at the rear, about 3mm on the front ones, 4-5mm on the back.
I'm thinking rather than try and sell the tyres on, I'm going to see if I can get 10k miles out of them before selling three of the bare rims on. According to that car bibles site they're only 3.3% smaller in circumference than the 255/60 R18s.
Further update coming next weekend when I get a chance to switch them.

Very handy reference on all things to do with tyre and wheel:
I decided to get on with it, and swap all the wheels over. I did it with the standard scissor jack, with out problems, although it would have been much easier with a trolley/bottle/air jack. Photos in the gallery show the before, during and after. Retired wanted to know if they were going to fit, and I can confirm that the rims are (as I hoped) absolutely identical to mine:
The size difference in the tyres is obvious when they are side by side:
In the photos the lower profile tyres look a little out of place, but standing across the road from the car they look fine. Driving, I get more of a thud on the bumps in the road, but in corners it feels much more poised. It's that much of a difference that I might be tempted to go for the 19in rims on my next disco. I might even start scanning ebay for some
So this now leaves me with a decision to make. The whole point of picking up these four wheels was to keep one to replace the steel spare and sell the other three on to like-minded SE owners. As I mentioned earlier, there is more tread than I expected on the new wheels, and they look like they should be good for 10-15k miles, which is going to take me at least six months. So, should I sell three of my original wheels with the 255/60s on right now (and add a bit for the part-warn tyres) or wait six months and sell on bare rims (well, rims with worn out 255/55s)?
Is anyone actually interested in a proper SE spare to replace their space-saving steel one?
