Hi Ian,
I have a 2007 RRS and I would be very interested in ordering a kit to fit. I note that there is a VAT free price, but I don't know if I would qualify for this. I am from Barbados but I would like to have the order shipped to my cousin in the UK to bring to me since I am not sure if you ship outside the UK.
My RRS has SatNav but it can only play CDs and not DVDs on the built-in system. Would this kit enable me to play DVDs on the same built-in CD player or would I have to order a separate DVD player to connect to the kit?
Can you also please confirm the final cost, inclusive of the CCD camera, or send me the correct link if it is easier to order online. Thanks.

Hi, I want to purchase it, shipping to Australia gives me 2 options (I want the cheap option) but when I go to checkout I only have the expensive, £50, option
How can I get the £15 cheap shipping option at checkout?

I have checked youre order and you did not use the correct link - you ordered only the gvif unit
the link for the group buy is http://www.hids4u.co.uk/Land-Rover-Discove...creen.html
The price is 199.99 inc the ccd camera. and this already includes the discount code
The link you used was 199.99 for the 6.2 forum price for the gvif unit only and you used 15% discount code which isnt applicable - i will amend the listing
This post started with the special price of 199.99 inc camera for the v2 - but due to the problems the manufactuer has upgraded the batch to version 6.2 and i am honouring the price for the whole batch. after that they will be 229.99 inc CCD for v6.2
Sorry if this is confusing

Unnecessary quote removed
Hi Ian,
This is all starting to get confusing....
when i ordered i went on your link on page 4, you stated that the offer was still valid.
Yes i did use the discount code as your first link was priced at £166, iv now noticed from the link that you have noted not to use discount code, where as it wasnt there before so i wasnt aware that the price had changed.
Your first link is showing the gvif interface "vat free" at a price of £166 + £5 p+p for uk. in stock.
from what i understood from what you wrote the link stated v2 but however the unit will be a version 6.2.
Isnt this what i bought?

hids4u wrote:Thanks - its a very special offer as we secured some of the newer units at the old price. only a few left and we will have to order the next ones for a higher price - but even then a great price if i do say so myself - and to date still the best upgrade i have ever done on my car.
and on a long run swmbo can watch a dvd and leave me to drive

From the outset the price for the GVIF and camera - version 2 was 199.99 instead of 249.99 for the v6.2 inc camera
I posted some other links for members that wanted a VAT free version for people outside of EU
The actual link you ordered from was a different link to either of those. It was a link only for the gvif - thats why in the description it did not mention any camera - and guess the reason why you added the not to not forget the camera.
Sorry if this has got confusing - but really the offer hasnt changed. I have subsequently changed the link you used to stop discount codes being used in conjunction with what is already a discounted price. The original link was initially setup to stop the discount code being entered as are other special links like for the blackvue.
Going forward we will be only using discount codes as our new stock control system will get confused - so I hope it will be easier for all.
The only thing I need you to do is pay the difference between what you paid and the 199.99 - for the hassle I will do you free shipping!
Hope this explains everything
Regards
Ian

Hi Paul
Sorry about the shipping
I have just done some tests and for some reason the 15 pound option for royal mail international signed for disappears.
I have emailed web guy and asked him to fix it. should only be a day or so
