Do you know anything about the engines then Stu?
The ACC is a S/C and TDV8 item only. Updates using a mobile signal sound great, but what if you don't get a signal where you live!! Also how long would an update take by mobile? A great idea though lets hope it all comes to fruition. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

How about a long ethernet cable & connection into the D3, it would update a lot faster at 4.5mbps than 56kbps.

all linked to this me thinks
Land Rover Watch is the new, state-of-the-art, stolen vehicle tracking system and service for use on all Land Rover models. There are two versions of Land Rover Watch. One includes automatic driver recognition and is accredited to Thatcham Category 5. The other does not include automatic driver recognition and is accredited to Thatcham TQA.
Land Rover Watch uses international standard GPS/GSM and meets the most stringent insurance criteria in each country, allowing Land Rover customers to qualify for the highest insurance benefits. Importantly, it has been properly tested for each Land Rover model and is fully covered by a 3 year Land Rover warranty.
When fitted to a car Land Rover Watch detects theft in a number of ways and alerts the owner electronically and by telephone prior to notifying the police. This means that the speed of response to a crime by police is able to be much faster and thereby more successful. Furthermore this service has pan-European coverage and is fully available in more than 30 countries.
Land Rover Watch is the ONLY tracking system that is approved for fitment to Land Rover cars.
Land Rover Watch is available for the current Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3. It will be available for Defender models from September 2006 and for Freelander with the launch of the new model in November 2006. Land Rover owners requiring more information should contact their Jaguar dealer. Land Rover Dealers requiring more information should click here or call the Land Rover Dealer Helpline on 020 7832 2913.

Well, I've seen thousands of them. Don't think that qualifies as knowing about them! Disco 5 HSE Lux
