Mine has been ordered ages and is due first week of November.
Dealer has sold his SE/HSE stock and is taking orders for 07MY with a 12 week wait.

8-12 weeks is the standard "factory order" delivery range.

Ordered my SE mid August, 07MY left the factory last friday (29 Sep) on way to dealer for 17 Oct. I know it is 07 as coming in Stornoway Grey and have chassis number already. Sounds like total flannel to me.

Got to agree with that, very bad experience with them last time. It would be well worth your while going to Edinburgh, either Pentland or Rossleigh. Shields are a bunch of XXXXXXXXXX.

Taggarts in Motherwell, I have had no personal experience of them but I know a few people who have, never heard of any problems. Shields in Glasgow and Greenock are the pits, they really do not deserve to be a franchised dealership.

I know a few Taggarts customers and they swear by them. I'll be moving my servicing to them as they are a lot closer to me than Rossleigh.

I bought my new car from Pentland in Edinburgh and so far have been very pleased with both the car and the dealership, time will tell how it works out.
I used to use Appleyards in Edinburgh or JBW Smith in Cupar for servicing and parts, but when they were both taken over by Rossleigh I was not so happy with things. For instance when I decided to buy a new D3 I got prices from both of them and they were not very keen to negotiate on the price of the new car, trade in price, fuel, accessories etc, in fact their quote/order form lists a price of £40 for diesel which everyone has to pay. I queried it and was told quite bluntly "Company Policy". They were very good at telling me what could NOT be discounted or negotiated, but were very reluctant to tell me what could be.
The next day we went over to Pentland and have to admit it was all pretty similar with price etc and I must have given the salesman the impression that I was not interested. He asked me if he could come up with the right deal, would we buy today, I replied that was what I was there to do. That must have triggered something because he then started to come out with much better figures, in fact nearly doubling the trade in price of my old car, and throwing in quite a few extras and free diesel. We ended up getting an "S" model a good bit cheaper than Cupar wanted for a base 7 seater.

disco hse, xs and gs 07s are currently in stock. we have one of each at the factory ready to call down. so about 10 days inc pdi. foil caps are no longer being added to the hse. all 07 cars come with c02 offset programme.
base 7 is now the xs and gets rear park sensor
s is now the xs, deletes cold climate pack, adds power fold mirrors, heated screen and washer jet, roof rails, convienence pack
se deletes cooler box and heated rear seats, addition of premium ice
hse does NOT get wood foil finish end caps as previously stated!
not all dealers are that bad! some of us are quite nice! (belive it or not)

Didn't really consider it a sales pitch, just a bit of useful info about the fake wood as far as I'm concerned. But that's just my take on it for what its worth.
