TBH DG, I've noticed no difference in the suspension.

The motor's more responsive and there are a few little thing's like the info 'i' that pops up to tell me things, but that's about it for me!

Yes ...it's strange how some feel a difference and others don't ... I have noticed that its tighter in the corners but ride is unaffected. I guess this is the reason for the poll ...to get some genuine feedback across the board Wink

DG you forgot this option Laughing

Firmer all round but not sure - and I don't like it, yet I like it a bit but its firmer in the corners well just a bit. I've noticed no difference and I think its softer than before.

well seeing as I have a June build, mine already came with tighter suspension but I did notice from the demo's before ordering that the ride was softer and small bumps would be unnoticed. you can now feel the bumps, or at least know your going over them but it is not jarring and is still a compliant ride and cornering is excellent. it's still better than anything else I've been in.

I've not noticed any firmer suspension. Just seen the "i>" on the info display.

If anything the engine makes a slight ticking sound when idling along at slow speed.

Found it a little firmer, but given that the dealership replaced the compressor at the same time as the enhancement, I can't therefore say with certainty whether it was a new compressor or the new software.

The compressor is modified (depending on part number) during the enhancement.

This as you say may well affect the ride firmness and could actually be causing most of the noticed difference.

Either way I am happier with the new setup than before.

Is is permanently showing Chris? If so you have a software mis-match and will need to get your dealer to apply an update, if it's just showing when there's a message all is okay The End

I can believe that, but the dealer rang me on the afternoon of planned collection and told be that as a result of the enhancement, the compressor needed replacement and they were going to do a 'line-grab' as the part was not in stock. Was able to use their demo. Defender for a couple of days until the car was ready, so could at least appreciate a 90:D3 improvement.

Depending on the type of compressor fitted (and the condition of part of it), the dealers will either replace the whole thing, or replace a valve in it, or on newer vehicles, do nothing.

Mine got a new valve and all the software updates, and the more time that has passed, the more I'd like to have it back the way it was. I do a lot of driving on rough roads, and rough lanes, and the firmer suspension is more uncomfortable. I can apprecieate the benefit on smooth roads, and bends, but overall I liked it better before. The smooth, gliding feeling while driving along is gone, and the back seats now rattle on back roads. Sad
