Since enhancement I find that my ride is:
Firmer all round - and I don't like it

I've noticed no difference

Gareth, you're right, although the 'upgraded' (as opposed to uprated Wink ) compressor has new valve clearances only (along with the upgraded valves) and the primary aim of the associated software upgrade is to lower the pressure in the receiver and therefore the duty cycle of the compressor to reduce wear and the likelihood of failure - therefore, giving greater reliability. There is no data link to the compressor so I can only assume that the software can differentiate compressors by the signal range available from the motor & compressor block sensors
