here are some photos to show the fitting of a rear view camera that i did last week. it looks very neat and tidy and gives a very good view of rear bumper and towing ball.

Great job! I'm in the USA where the rearview camera is not an option. I heard that I can buy the parts from a Range Rover, but where did you get the info for how to wire it up correctly? Which DVD post exactly? Thanks.

Mine is up on the rear window:
Benefits are:
+ wiper covers the camera area
+ camera is on 45 degree angle, meaning that I can really see the first 20 meters from the camera, not just the rear bumber

I just need to put the reverse on. Camera gets power from the reverse + line, as well the rear mirror TFT LCD display. So all is full automatic.
Similar system as the Audi Q7 has but for incredible price in that.

I looked at the instructions Jamo referred to and they didn't seem to suggest the screen comes on automatically - Am I missing something?

I believe that Offroader has installed a new rear view mirror that has an integrated TFT screen built in and that Lee has wired it up to the LR installed sat nav screen.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold
