Front Seat Replacement - Cold for Warm |
|
I am looking at trading my Sport in for a Disco. The car I am looking at does not have heated front seats or front arm rests. Can anyone please advise whether it is possible to modify the existing seats or can replacement heated seats with armrests simply be plugged in? Thanks in advance.

Welcome dw
you can insert heat pads and have armrests fitted to base seats but its expensive and messy imo. Best thing I found to do was keep an eye out on this site, the bay or various dismantlers for a set. they do come up from time to time. Be patient
For fitting, they'll just bolt into the floor as your existing ones. For functionality, it will depend on your D3 spec. You'll have to upgrade your hevac unit which again can be found easy enough.
Needless to say, there's a work around for most things so get your hands on some seats and go from there A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
