Headlights on permanent main beam

Help !!
Coming home last night I noticed my headlights were pointing higher than usual. It transpires that on dip the driving lamps go out but the Xenons stay on main beam. Other motorists are starting to get a bit miffed so can anyone point me in the direction of a quick fix please or is a L/R assist job again ???

Sounds like a common prob, sticking shutter...............try tapping the units to see if it dislodges them back

Tried tapping, banging, swearing and foot stamping, dosnt seem to be any change. Wo'nt be sure until after dark though.

I had one sticking one when I 1st got the D3, would'nt budge till swmbo operated the switch whilst I tapped the unit. Eventually something else went (Ballast), and the unit was warrenty replaced

If its still under warranty get it changed asap, cos they are expensive Shocked

I had the same problem

Frapp Member of the carrot crank club

Embarrassingly in for the 2nd round, bought another two

D3 Jack Russell carrier
D4 Landmark for towing duties
