These warranty people aren't going to have a very nice bonus this year if this carries on
Although I wonder how many get an online quote and just pay there and then?
But at least I will be having peace of mind next year

So I was almost set on going with Warranty Wise, then Warranty Direct give me a call.
I explain that WW will cover "everything" so I'm going to go with them.
WD offer to upgrade me from "SECURE" to "EXTRA" (this will now cover suspension), 13 months for 12, 30k p/a, emissions & airbags, franchised dealer rates, no betterment, £50 excess.
£700
Sod It, I gave them my card details....

just been through the warranty minefield - finally went with Warranty Direct - £50/mth for Luxury care (upgraded from the Extra care, after i asked about turbo, satnav, egr, epb and a few others)
Just waiting for documents to arrive to confirm everything OK.
WW didn't call after doing the online quote thing (wereas WD did the following day)

Just gone on WD website and they only offer me SecureCare or MajorCare - could this be due to mileage (62k?).
Initial quote is £750 for SecureCare on the internet with independent labour rates - but based on this could come down quite a bit when I get the call.....
Warranty Wise offered me £850 with all the boxes ticked and main dealer rates.
Based on the above discussion, and assuming I can get them down to about the £700(WW) or £600(WD) mark then WW would have it for me...... unless I could get the Luxury WD cover for less than £700?

Seems you got a great price there Mine was only slightly cheaper with very low miles and a 09My car. Did you get emissions and airbag included?

Yep everything covered under my Luxury Care Warranty except for the consumable items, tyres, windscreen glass and any pre diagnosed existing problems. There is a list of items not covered, rather than a list of items that are covered. I had the usual end of month deal stuff, had to go away and talk to his boss etc. Lets hope its as good as it looks.....Must stop buying shiny toys....
