Thanks DBREGMAN - but I don't have the actual power and aux connectors there - so no door to open and pull hard on - but I believe that I can still access these wires?
cheers,

If it is the same as the uk cars you have 3 plugs behind the blanking plate. The orange plug is the power lead for the 12V supply. The 2 green plugs are for the heated rear seats. As far as i know there is no cable for the rear aux socket unless it is fitted at the factory. Hope this helps.2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

Thanks Daz A - figured that was the case; just hoped that if they ran power there, they might have run the audio there too.
Ah well - back to the front kick panel.
cheers

Just had the centre consloe apart looking for the wirnig for the aux audio but couldn't find it. After reading 10forcash's post on the plug description I reckon its not wired in the base system.
My plan is to butcher an IPOD cable - the one that plugs in the bottom of IPOD - hook the power up to the cigar lighter plug in the front and pick up the aux audio and wire wire 7 & 8 (red and Blue) at the back of the head unit. I had it out tonight and they're there.
Then I just leave the plug hanging out around the cup holder. Will advise when done 8)2007 MY Irish spec S+ TDV6
I butchered a belkin adaptor and wired that to the connections in the rear of the centre console. 'Twas easier as I have an 'S' and so the audio was already there. Did it as the children tend to have a habit of kicking everything as they scramble in and out of the back and the Belkin's protrusion made it an obvious target.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I have just been advised that the aux audio cables are in the BIG green plug under the terrain response in the base 7 seater and not in the separate plug in the higher spec models. Will have to physically check this to be sure and will advise.2007 MY Irish spec S+ TDV6

Just fitted the rear aux see thread
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic7072.html
It is part of speaker and stereo upgrade
I do not think the plug Balrick refered to is the aux in as it only has two connections:

Isn't the two wire green connector under the TR knob for the refrigerated cubby? It's been a while since I have had the center console torn apart, and I am too lazy to get on to GTR.
OK... connector C2773 is for the cool box, if that is what we are talking about.
