Hi,
Just bought a roof box off Ebay and trying to get it opened.
It is a LR branded box and came boxed and bagged up.
The fixing kit is inside, but I can't get the roof box open.....
Tried emailing the seller but no reply yet.....
The model is PART NO STC 7628
It looks to have a Thule N*** key, so do I need to order a key or is there an easier way to get it opened?
Thanks
JC

If the key isn't taped to the outside of the box or in theexternal packaging, then yoiu need to get a thule key.

I think you will find that you need a key to open and close the box. It can't be done without.
I would contact the person you purchased it from on Ebay.
You could also talk to 'The Large One' as he would know how the the keys are supplied with the box. D3 Buckingham Blue SE Auto

Hi again,
Just ordered a key for £3.99 from ebay.
Any one have docs or info on these roof boxes?
Who makes them for Land Rover?
I have Thule Aero bars on my D3 so need to work out how to mount on the T tracks....
Also need to get some spare rubber strips for the Aero bars. I threw mine away a while back, and now they whistle........
Thanks
John

Thule's lock, Thule's box, right?
I'm quite sure I saw the other day in their online product configurator/catalogue also fittings to the T rail of the Aero bars.

Thule do a fitting kit for the T track, specific to the D3. There are 2 versions, a high one and a low one.
I have Thule aero bars and a low fitting kit, I purchased them via Roofbox Central, in the midlands, (no affiliation with them, but they did know what they were talking about).
Sorry, I can't remember the part numbers - not my fault, (i'm blond you see ) 56 plate Zermatt Silve

Hi again,
Yes, paid a bit more than £80, but that is supply and demand:-)
So were the boxes made by Thule or someone else?
Thanks

Got the box open and all looks good, so not for sale anymore
Even got some instructions.
Looks like it needs two bolts across the roof bars, rather then along the T tracks of the Aero bars.
Anyone know if it will be OK to mount with 4 bolts into the T tracks rather than the supplied 8 bolts to fit across the bars?
Anyone know the part numbers for the Thule kit above?
Thanks
