When the DVD screen is stowed then it is visible but doesn't restrict your view.
I have a 2007 Model on order and I am surprised how many little features it is getting like one touch indicators and windows that the 2006MY doesn't get. The dealer told me that the warning chimes aren't as annoying on the 2007MY. Also you can use sat nav features on the move which is useful when you want a passenger to use it for you.

Thank you!
Now I want 2007 model now!!
It seems it is like a computer, always something better on the horizon. I guess in two months time there will be news on the TDV8 and that will be the next thing to wait for. Is the Metropolis 2005 MY or 2006?

Wait for 20 years and you will get a Disco that runs on cold fusion. I've had mine six months and couldn't care what is coming out next. Certainly won't be changing the car for one with a TV. Get a life!!!

I prefer sexual frustraion to the idea of being without my D3 for a few months for the sake of a TV

I can understand Disco wanting the 2007MY, not just for the TV which is a £500 option but because if you are spending £40k now on a new car you might as well get the best you can for the money. I do a lot of motorway miles and for me, I am looking forward to the one touch indicators the best.
It's all a matter of choice.
Anyhow, Metropolis is 2006 Model Year and there were about 400 built. You need to see one in the flesh to make up your mind whether you like it or not. For me, it's ok in black but prefer a HSE but as I say.......it's a matter of choice.
Disco, try www.motorlogix.com and speak to Nick Leyland. They will do you a cracking deal on a 2007 MY but you'll have to wait until week 1 or 2 of November. At least you'll have it for the winter and Christmas!!

Oliver, Am I guessing right that you have purchased yours from them (Motorlogix)? I am seriously thinking of getting one from them as well as the dealers I have been contacting (for an 06 model!) are all quoting me unreasonable prices for a used /ex demo one. I might as well go for a new one. For example, one dealer in Surrey quoted £40K for a 2000 miles 06 HSE model!
In all fairness, another one told me that the motorlogix deal was a good one and that I might as well go with them...
I was hoping to save few quids by buying near new but it doesn't look that way!
