It's your fault we're heading to 400k - you said the same thing at 300k
Calculation should also take in to consideration Gross Income generated each month which at a rough guess is more than the value of it each month
Reliablity isnt really the issue these days as what has been replaced over the past 6 months should be good to see him over 500k, it's just the wish to get something with the toys you guys talk about
My fault Ok, I do remember saying that.
Hows the interior trim holding up?

New foam for the driver's seat - are you splashing out again?
400k - only 15k to go, so what's your worry? Only another 115k and you'll have been to the moon and back Rob Smith
Silver rools OK

happy with a 7 seater S, SE, HSE - MY 06 and registered prior to 1/5/06 and VAT qualifying, less than 75k and not over 5 years old (so we can put 24 months LRA)

I drive my car from new (01/01/2005 - V6 HSE) and have done 238.000 Km.
Until recently did not face any problems.
Last month problems started
1. Rear hatch cable broke
2. My gearbox had an overhaul as it had a grinding noise
3. Rear right-hand rear hatch stud broke
4. Pre heater stopped working.
5. Front screen washer stopped working.
6. Main control stopped working 2x and car was only drivable in High gear and suspension down.
What next?
Q.

I think the problem here is, Holland is too flat for a D3, they need to go up and down a few more hill's or they tend to get flatness intolerance!!

I'd describe them as being a bit to the west... they are only up north to those poor souls "darn sarf"

You're probably right . However the first time up there I had a Virgin Pendolino experience. This together with the 20 odd mile taxi ride with a propshaft about to depart this world almost certainly disorientated me!!
I'd only buy one if it had full history with bills to prove, to me a service book with just a load of stamps is worth nothing without the bills to back them up.
Not quite true - if always serviced by LR. LR have all service and warranty work performed in their computers and can confirm all the work and services were actually done.
With all the warranty work mine has had - the bills would be thicker than the service book, and almost as thick as the owners manual!

Not quite true in the UK - LR have a record of all warranty work done but not the service record. LR have indicated (for several years now) that they would migrate to such a system but they have not done so yet. Only the dealer performing the service would have a record of it being completed.

I have a 2004 from new which has done 188,000 miles as my everyday car. Its on clutch number 3 but other than that I've had no major problems and it runs perfectly. I plan to take it to 220k then convert it to an expedition vehicle. All servicing is done by LR.
