Just had belts changed at 105k. Now 2 days later power steering has gone. Battery light is showing on the dash, and low coolant level showing in the info window. Anyone any ideas?

First thought is that the accessories belt is slipping or has fallen off. The Bearded Dragon

Was the tensioner changed at the same time? Maybe the stress of it being wound back to change the belts has pushed it over the edge and it is no longer tensioning the belt enough to drive the pump? If this is true you're also not charging your battery and your aircon will suck too.
You could turn on everything electrical and put aircon at full fan/max cold and see if your alternator light comes on or you get it squeaking. Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Thanks guys.
What does the aux belt drive?
Have organised for the car to be picked up. Don't feel confident driving it.
When I started it up this morning still no power steering and the dash light up like a Xmas tree.
Special programs and HDC all off.
As far as I know the tensioners were changed for both the timeing belt and the aux belt.

Aux belt drives power steering, alternator, aircon and engine cooling fan.
Special programs off and no hdc is a common low volts issue; as are the Christmas display lights if the volts are low enough.
More slipping aux belt symptoms.
Something wrong with their work there methinks, definitely get them to fix it - good luck! Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Done a bit of searching. It also drives the coolant pump. Hence low coolant message. So far The garage have responded brilliantly.
Within an hour of ringing this morning they were here with a replacement car and a low loaded to get mine taken away.
Will keep you updated as to how things progress. Will not name the garage unless things go pair shaped. Equally if they resolve the problem swiftly and with no charge then I will sing their praises on here.

Just another quick question. Is it possible to change the belts without disconnecting the battery?
Reason I ask is because the trip computer had not reset after the work was done.

Forgot about coolant pump
Yes, its a purely mechanical replacement without the need to unplug anything; no need to disconnect the battery. Not sure I'd want to do the job with it connected but I'm nervous about someone turning the engine - not something that should happen in a garage without a 4 year old running about.
It may be worth your while taking a look and see if you can see anything of the belt - look under the fan cowel from the side, belt is approx 1" wide and obvious to spot. Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Disco back working. Hats off to Green Oval in Leeds. Brilliant response to a stranded customer. Stricken car picked up and courtesy car delivered within 90 mins of first contact. Bearing in mind we live in Huddersfield and they are in Leeds, at rush hour.
Appears problem was a sheard bolt on the water pump. All resolved with no charge.
Well done Green Oval, not sure if the problem was down to the work carried out. But no problem as no money's asked for.

You dont have to touch the water pump to replace the belt.
You only have to unbolt the pulley, and I suspect that the pulley had fallen off and belt had been thrown off also, given the faults that were there My D3 Build Thread
