Having almost lost my Discovery 3 recently to thieves, please read this and take note.

Gareth, thefts of Landy's has been going on for years. I lost one when travellers lifted it over my 4' high fence, a 2 tonne 110. The NFU were fantastic by the way. I called the police and received an answerphone. Thats why I became involved with the 'LoCATer' I have mentioned before. Now I can trace it myself on my home computer and do what I like with the occupants. Even lock them in a fill the car with smoke. I can put on the brakes, wipers, horn, lights, whatever I want, plus listen to them or speak to them if I want. I hate thieves. Evil or Very Mad Just imagine a thief driving down the road with horns, lights, wipers, indicators going and the car filling with smoke. Even the police might find them then, plus I would be following them on my home computer and listening to them. Twisted Evil

Is the standard security on the D3 any good. I cant find any record of the LoCATer, but what other security devices do members deploy?

BN,

Info on the LoCATer would be great to see...

Does their software run on Mac or is it (more sensibly for all platforms) web or Java based... you have no clue what I'm talking about do you Wink

I have mentioned it before on the site, but give Malcolm Reardon a call on 01732 886777, mention my name. He is the MD of the company who make it.

For anyone attending Billing, I will take a demo unit to show how it works if you like.

Interesting. Seems to be similar to the Cobra Connex service I found http://www.cobraconnex.com/

No, the LoCATe stole our logo of LoCATE'r. Call malcolm, he is the one. The others are around £7000, ours is less than £1000 and the locating is free. The other is a fortune per year. Cobra are nothing like it either.
