Call from the dealer......... |
|
Dealer called today to say that my 2007MY is showing on the system as going to be with them on 26th October so delivery on 1st November. So that's 71 days and counting.
TDV6 HSE Auto, Stornoway Grey, Hybrid TV, privacy glass, tow pack, rear locker, TMPS. Now I just hope I made the right decision on the colour

Yeah, the options I have chosen are all the options you can get. There is an engine tweak supposidly better on fuel and will run on 5% Bio Diesel.
RSE still not a factory option.

Unfortunately I'm not so technically minded so I have to rely on them to fit the stuff from the factory. Have you gone for silver again?
I just wanted a change as the last two have been silver. Have they given you a date for delivery of yours TFC?

yer, silver again
a decision aided by senior management - as was the privacy glass
delivery will be late November at my request, basically to give me time to take some accessories off post - Morocco
All the extras would be dealer fit anyway, together with a few that don't have a LR part number

Sounds like a good plan. I'm looking forward to the one touch indicators too. Not sure what the TV will be like and as for the TPMS I'll probably wish I hadn't but it will be easy enough to disable if it's a pest. Rear diff is purely for the amount of snow the car will be used on. Looking forward to it anyway.

Huh, I wish new one is to get me into the 2009MY in warranty and the fact I neglected to spec a rear locking diff. with this one although TBH i've not really pushed the limits enough for the lack of one to make a difference - yet
Oliver, I got the impression the TPMS would be standard on the '07MY HSE, which would be a pain for me with 2 and 1/5th sets of tyres although it may be of use offroad with the system set to 'heavy load', at least it should save a tyre or two, just need to buy more transponders and valve stems...

Nope, TPMS is a factory extra, includes the transponder valves, different button on dash and warning messages on information display.
