The price at the moment of the shipping has increased considerably due to the exchange rate. I have got the price of the jacks down but the extra shipping is making the Jacks closer to £76 than the original £64.
I am playing hard ball with "Harry the China-man" and will make him wait another week to see if the price of shipping comes down. Over Xmas the DHL rates go up apparently for bulk shipping...
If there is a price increase I'll let you all know so you can decide if you still want to go ahead.

I'm very a new owner (12 hours now) but are these things okay on the sills of a D4 HSE ? I don't intend to do anything serious for the first couple of years but trying to lift 2.7t manually seems to be a bit of a pain so would be interested.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

Did you get this group buy sorted in the end, Mike? If not, I'd like to tag along. Failing that, I'll just go direct to the fella myself and pay the £84 to get one shipped directly to me.
Thanks.

From a AULRO.COM
"she heard the noise of a flat tyre and on stopping, sure enough the front left tyre was very flat (but only at the bottom!). Obviously a tyre change was in order but it didn’t look as if John’s hydraulic jack would have enough clearance so I decided to use the “exhaust jack†I have to raise the vehicle enough to pop in the hydraulic jack to support the vehicle for the tyre change.
All was going relatively well, until the exhaust bag was about 2/3 of the way to the height I wanted then suddenly it failed. This was no slow leak but the actual seams of the bag “let go†dropping the vehicle. I could have accepted if the bag had melted or got pierced because of my own “user error†but, in this case it seems the bag itself was not sound. ...............Anyway in due course we did manage to get the wheel changed and set off once again.

If buying these things be well aware they are dangerous and I am not sure I would be relying on "Chinese build quality. Having said that I am also looking at buying one locally for my RRS and have been doing a bit of research as well.

Also be very very careful where you have the car when you jack up with the bag, if it's the first time you've used one of these you'll be surprised how far the car can move if the bag doesn't inflate exactly square. Also be very wary of using it on even a slight incline. BIG chocks needed. Club Pie n Pea
