There was quite a bit of interest in a group buy for new leather steering wheels just before Christmas. Now that Saint Nick has got the busiest day of the year out the way his alter ego at Yeovil Land Rover has a New Year offer.
The rrp for a new steering wheel is £169, the forum discount is £135.22 but TLO will do a group buy price of £120 for 14 extra names.
A saving can also be made on shipping, ordinarily postage is £8.23 but postage can be reduced or waived if multiple wheels go to a single address. I can cover the Reading area and together with Bigcarpchaser could potentially deliver to a SE meet.
PM me if you want to take advantage of this to see what can be arranged.
Payment will be direct to Yeovil Land Rover.
If you're unsure how nice a new steering wheel is then quoting stapldm

Just in case anyone's not sure of the benefits of the new design wheel over the old...if you close your eyes and gently rub your finger tips over the leather, it feels like rubbing massage oil into Megan Fox
Do the same with the old one and it feels like rubbing cheese into Tutankhamun.

When you've got your hands on Megan Fox you generate your own heat... Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?
