My software is the PRO version although I paid for normal. Have installed usb to wbus converter from ebay to run webasto diagnostics. Diagnostics show max run time 255 mins although help text says max time is 59 mins.
Also noted info returned temp is 12 degrees lower than diagnostic tool. Fbh will only start properly if coolant < 35 deg.(23 C returned by info sms) otherwise it fires up for only 2 mins. Also cannot run danhag and diagnostics together, fbh gets confused.There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

My air-conditioning had stopped blowing cold air. It's currently having a new HVAC unit fitted... I hope this is just a coincidence...

Funny you should mention that.
I ran my system for 30 mins last week just to keep it flowing so to speak. I then jumped into the vehicle about 5mins after it had shut down and had my air-con set at about 17-18 degrees which was too cold as it was gettin well into the evening. When i turned the temp dials up could not get the centre vents to either not blow at all or blow warm air? I turned the dials both to full temp at the top of the red but the centre vents still blew freezing cold ait at me so I had to physiaclly shut the vent. Opened it again after a few miles of travelling and the hot air had taken over.
Can only think that the flaps that are supposed to shut until the air gets to the temp you have requested were not doing so but has been fine since although I have not fired the danhag and fb heater up again yet. Perhaps I have a faulty connection on the wire that shuts or resets the flaps?
Hopefully not the start of your prob although mine seems to be in reverese of yours? Just a thought anyhow.

The garage say that they have ordered the HVAC unit under waranty.
I hope that they will fit it too

Good news is that the garage fitted the HVAC unit under warranty - not bad for a 5 1/2year old car.
The bad news is that I have a solid red LED on the Danhag unit.
The manual helpfully indicated that it is an error but I can't see how to troubleshoot it.
Its a network error bud just disconnect it from the power and then reconnect it, it should then turn to green ...

HELP Cant get it to work!

I bought the full item from SJ whom bought it in the group buy!! the unit it brand new as it was still in the package with the Ariel sealed ect
connected it all up using the power from the lighter socket but it isn't doing anything? I have tried and checked all wires and everything seems to be correct!!
should my LED be flashing as it isnt doing anything!!!!
Yes bud you should have a flashing green led on the unit, have you got a 12 volt feed on it connected permanently because one of the ignition feed is used to shut the FBH down when you turn the key on, this is the orange wire that should go to the ignition supply.
With a permanent 12 volt feed you should see the led flashing red at first then turn to green.
silly question time you have put a sim in the unit?.
Have you tried to programmed it from your mobile and do you get a response back.
where have you put the box in the car.

Ok I have used the translated instructions from this thread? I believe i have followed them correctly but hay how you know how you should not have bits left over? I still have a bag with wires on it that come from a single brown connector???? no idea as why it there?
ok harness goes to gsm module plugs in?
harness to relay and plugs in?
yellow to heater!
red and white to the fag lighter green!
all other wires r connected fine? so any idea as what i have done as the unit doesnt do anything with the ignition on or offf?
Live feed from the ignition were did you take yours from?

Stevie, I don't think you should have anything left over from what I sent. The only brown connector with wires attached should be the one that goes into the GSM unit. See picture below.
Unless SWMBO put an extra bit in, just to confuse the issue Can you post a picture of the spare connector.
EDIT Just realised that because I also bought the additional wiring harness, the extra connector you're talking about is the GSM connector that comes with the standard kit, so it is in fact spare!

Thanks for your help, she has just fired up for the first time!!!!
the connections were bad using the blocks so I shaved the wires and soldered them!!! first time she went up!!!
Ok sorting the blowers what do I need to do with brass screw?
Glad you sorted it now once its up and running with the fans set to run you need to turn the little brass screw one way slowly and then if nothing happens turn it back the other way, then your fans should start up and when they do just keep turning until your happy with the fan speed.
Don't have the fans blasting as this defeats the object you only need a nice steady flow to heat the car.
