Ride Height Restrictions
SWMBO took the kid riding today with the trailer attached
Coming home she called me to say that the car was warning her that unless she slowed down the ride height would drop - usual off road height warning once you reach a certain speed.
Apparently she'd unhooked the tralier earlier - so must have put it into extended height and then hitched the trailer back up.
However, I thought I'd read that once a trailer was attached you could no longer change the ride height? Or is it won't change - except if you're at off road height and it'll then lower from extended at a certain speed? I guess that makes sense from a safety point of view.......14 Disco 4 HSE

Is she trying to drive along in off road height??

The only thing that'll happen when a trailer is connected is that the D3/4 will not automatically increase the ride height in certain Terrain Response modes (such as rock crawl and sand mode in low range).
You can still change the suspension height manually.
It sounds like she just popped it into off-road height and then drove off - no problem until she hit 40km/h (or whatever that is in old money) and then it'll warn you.2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
