Yes very helpful thanks Andy. Just a shame I can't buy off you for courier delivery.
Never mind, I've had a very good quote from a local dealer, but would have preferred to give you my business. Lloyd "Phat Face"

Very helpful Andy, thanks very much. I too PM'd you a few days ago. Does the above quote mean that you won't be sending any out by courier? If so, that rules me out too. D3 TDV6 HSE 2008 Buckingham Blue (current)

I am very sorry but until I know how many I am going to get of the first batch due in by the end of the month I can't commit to orders.
As I said as soon as I know you will know.
If I get what I have ordered there is no problem, will just have to wait and see.
Also if you find them nearer to you it may work out better in the long run, price of tyres, carraige and fitting etc.
I would love to keep you all happy if I can.
Sorry for not answering PM's but we are very, very busy, please call.
Watch this space.
Andy.

There is a truck due in the morning to me with the new AT from General, unless it gets hi-jacked.
I already have a longish list so please call if you wish to be added.

Andy
What times are you open to take phone calls?
As mentioned in my PM I find it really hard to get to a phone in private during normal working hours, but want a set of these and don't want to miss out just because I can't get to the phone.

Hi Andy,
Just wondering how the tread pattern compares to the Pirelli ATR. Is it more aggressive and if so, by much?
Regards, Craig

Demand clearly exceeds supply just now. Andy can sell more than he's likley to receive. I think it's entirely reasonable to ask those who have expressed an interest to now call him and confirm their order and suggest when they'd like to come and get them fited. Otherwise he could end up with an inbox full of interest a shed full of tyres and not sell any.
The alternate solution might have been to just do first come first served and then you might have had a reason to be quite so childish about it.

Will be in work at 8am.
Mac, sorry But I can't find any message from you.
This tyre is more aggressive than ATR.
Don't forget the link on the web site.
Andy.

It was in my thread about the same subject, when you let the at out of the bag, and before you tested them. I asked for some then, way before a price n availability was mentioned.
Never mind, will source elsewhere, when I can

Come on Mac ......there have been 100s of messages about this tyre and Andy has only just got prices through.
Until he has confirmation of stock and prices, how can he take orders based upon a message before the tyre was even released?
All he's asked for is that people wanting to place a firm order call him....is that so unreasonable???
Anyway, I thought you said recently that you were looking at MT/Rs too? Not exactly a clear-cut decision of the tyre or even the type of tyre (one extreme to another) that you wanted to fit. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Look, let's not blow this out of proportion. All I did was start a thread after being told about this tyre. Andy replied in discussion and I said I would have a set, way before his testing and pricing. I was/am in need for a set of winter Tyres, and didn't know I again had to register my interest.
So maybe an oversight on my behalf, so I'll wait to spend my £600+

Woohoo
Booked in with Andy to get mine fitted next week. Cannot wait and thanks for the help in choosing the tyres Andy.
I can only imagine how difficult it must be having the hottest property around (in the tyre sense anyway ) and no / limited supplies! I see this all the time when trying to get hold of new fishing tackle, the latest wonderbait etc. I don't envy you some of your calls today...
