how many have you tried?
I've found that detailing in writing, copying to the DP and demonstrating the issue to the service manager can get results with 'subjective' issues
Had a rattle that they 'couldn't find' until I put it in writing and took the SM out to demonstrate.... mind, given the milage they put on it (not much) trying to find it twice, they didn't put much effort into it turned out it was an anti-roll bar bush... which I did suggest as a possible cause and they promptly ignored

been there, Im onto about visit 8 since I formally complained with the 25 point fault list, which since then there have been about 3 more added. Service manager is 'dealing' with my problem, but im on verge of solicitors letter now. they are trying to fix problems im convinced are more fundemental issues with the build, and are totally brushing over the miss sold issues. the service manager is a nice guy and is trying, but we are both getting short of patience with each other and the dealer principle just doesnt give a shi£. LR director of Customer Service has not replied to my letter, so all in all feels like they are trying to ignore me in hope i will give up ........if i wasnt so busy with other things at the moment I would be in there more often.
Ive even considered trying to enlist help of an old school friend who is involved in a well known TV car show... or at least threaten a major publicity stink..... seems to be only thing they respond to ala the guy who thinks a Q7 is better than D3. 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

you've probably thought of this already how easy is it to get to another dealer? as you likely know, you don't have to stick with the one you bought it from

For warranty issues maybe not, but there are issues of miss sold functionality too.
Any really good dealers in Warwickshire area? 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

might seem a 'suck eggs' moment...
divide the issues into warranty and misrepresentation / mis-sold and deal with them separately, the warranty issues clearly need a technically better dealer and the vehicles attendance, the other issues can be dealt with by letter (solicitors or otherwise) and other than the occasional fist banging on the DP's desk, no personal attendance
hope it helps

LOGIC7 optical audio connector |
|
Hi MB,
I can help you with this one. The connector on the amp is a fibre optical input (Sony Philips Digital Inter-Face or SPDIF) and is for 7.1 surround sound. This is used on models with DVD / rear seat entertainment fitted, and carries the surround sound signal from the DVD player direct to the amp. This is not used on Discos yet. It's currently only used on Sports and RR (LM).

Can this input be selected somewhere; i.e. how do you get audio going into it to come from the speakers? IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!
