Something has cropped up for me on the 10th October, but I'm free on the 17th so I'll organise the event for then.
I have reccied some of the routes around Driffield / Wetwang yesterday. I have not passed along these routes before so had to go carefully, especially as the ground was sodden! I took the liberty of cutting back overhanging brambles / branches etc, so are now D3 friendly . That was until I got to south of Wetwang where, judging by the overgrown trees / bushes it was obvious no 4x4 had been down there for some time. I cleared around 100ft of bushes before I got bored. I will have to return and walk the route to see what other obstacles are lurking.
BTW the routes I have done were with my road tyres and side steps on, so it is very much for beginners as well as folk with a little experience.
In the meantime if anyone knows of any suitable routes between Hull and Scarborough then please add them, and I'll check them out.

I have been checking some routes out on the enduro bike, looks like you could get from this side of scarborough right through to near scaling dam?
Need to go back and check some parts out but looks interesting! Dont know if all the routes are legal, OS maps are not that human freindly to understand. 'Just because you're breathing doesn't mean you're alive'

I know there are plenty of routes up towards scaling dam, but thought I would have a change and try an encourage some Hull owners to grace there vehicles with a bit of the brown stuff. Hence something between scarborough and hull. I'm sure I can find a few hours worth of routes from my electronic copy of OS (which covers the whole of yorkshire!).

I've started a new thread in the event's section, showing the details of the trip as it stands:
