Big Dent
Unfortunately my reverse parking skills failed me during an attempt to park outside our holiday cottage last week resulting in a large dent in the front passenger door (shortly followed by immediate pain in the wallet) .
Has anyone had any success with "Dentmaster" type franchises, or is this a complete non-starter on a D3?
I have been told in the past that they cannot work their magic on Discos due to the construction of the door.
I had a small dent on my door done by one of these type of companies with no probs.Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green

They will come out, check the dent and tell you if they can fix and give free estimate, I have heard good things about themHari

think dentdevils is 70quid for each dent. If you call them they'll give you the figures without looking.

Got my dent done for £35 the guy was at local dealer when I went there to book in for some warranty work.
He did it there and then on their forecourt, I bet a lot more than £35.00 if dealer got him to do it.Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green

Thanks for your suggestions but the word is that it is not repairable and that I need a new door!
Suspect that I also need a new job to pay for the new door

I have used one bloke for dents on various cars, but they are just small pin-head dents, door contact dents and the like - not massive ones. He is the instructor for Honda, who have their own blokes who remove dents from panels at the factory as they go through quality control.
Remember they are all franchised though, so it is probably hit/ miss as to whether you get someone who can do a good job or not.2014 D4 XS

Someone reversed into our Disco 3 and creased the lower tailgate. From the damage, it looked lie the culprit had a tire to the rear of their vehicle. A local dent guy managed to repair the damage and also remove a dent on the drivers door.Current:

I've just been quoted £300 by Chips Away for having all 4 side panels filled and resprayed after some scum bag keyed my car.
Yeah, I've used Chips Away with some success. BMW with key damage, busted grille, lower spoiler and bird strike damage to the bumper. £350. Good result, but not to full bodyshop quality (but about 1/5th of the costs). Ideal if you're selling the car or if it's a bit older and you're not so bothered.____
