Hi,
I just took some food up to the pigs and decided to use 'mud and ruts' as I was going over er, mud and ruts.
It automatically engaged HDC and as soon as it did there was the sound normally associated with HDC engaging in anger - but I was on the flat. The noise was worse when reversing. For info I ignored the suggestion to go into low range and as soon as I turned special programs off the noise stopped.
Any bright ideas from the brains trust?!
Thanks,
Paul PRH

Switch of HDC when you are on the flat (unless you want to do a steady ~2mph of course) ?

Its the hill descent control. If you want to shut it up when driving on the flat, press the yellow hdc button to switch it off.
