fuel sedimenter

Hi, I noticed all the posts about changing the diesel fuel filter, but the service sheet also asks you to drain the fuel sedimenter(Diesel).....
Do we have a sedimenter bowl as well somwhere in the system?? 07 D3 diesel.?
