Dealer AIRCON Service and Brake Fluid Change
My TDV6 is at the dealers for warranty work on the front suspension (new ARB, etc).
They called with a notice about the fact that the aircon could use a recharge and that the brake fluid should be changed (3+ yrs old).
Price for the aircon recharge they quote is £99 + VAT, and they want £156 + VAT for the brake fluid.
Does anyone have any figures for comparison?
I know it's not possible to fully change the brake fluid without the computer to open the ABS channels, but the price seems high.
Do we trust Kwick Fit with aircon service, or do they just top up the gas?
Grateful for any advice.PAGODA

LR indy in Cheltenham charged £75 inc VAT for AC regas, including vacuum 15 min leak check
Personally I wouldn't go to KF as I have heard bad reports that they just pump up without adding oil or checking for leaks etc
Any reputable garage will do a brake fluid change, nothing specialist that a LR dealer needs to do, it is done using the pump pedal/bleed/pump pedal or air pressure auto bleed methods
My local indy quoted £100+VAT inc fluid Never get mad - get even !!
