The disco I'm buying is a specced up S model with several options such as xenons, sat nav, harman kardon and heated seats. Would these have been added as individual options or is there an option pack that comes with the above features for an S model.
Just wondering if it has any other features over standard I don't know about.

Has it got leather?
My SE (leather std) had the winter pack and bright pack fitted, which was basically heated everything and Xenons
Sounds like options to me - though some of the early ones were a tad confusing with spec mixes - what MY is it?

I have a 54 S which has no leather or sat nav but does have heated seats, HK, Cold climate pack.
All as options on original sale.
Glad of it all too, especially if we get the cold weather again!!
Cheers.

Xenons were standard on '05 S, as was the Hi ICE (not Premium ICE though, if it has two speakers in the front doors and Logic 7 it's Premium, will be Hi otherwise). Heated seats first and second rows were standard too, SatNav would have been a factory fit option though. If it's got auto light/wipers and front fogs it's got the bright pack The End

You have to remember that many D3's were company cars of employees of the PAG group (Jag/LR/Volvo/Aston) and we changed our cars every three months or so and many options were 'standard' fit to make vehicles attractive to sell on or 'free' to select. So pretty much every one will have had anything that was 'free' at the time (auto lights, wipers, xenons, rubber mats, side steps, better stereo, etc.) Oddly you couldn't get privacy glass and they wanted £25/month for the detachable tow-bar (hence the black-market trade in these and blokes willing to fit the wiring for a modest cash reward....... ). If you got yourself a towbar, even if you bought it, you were break even in about four months and just moved it car to car.
The specs/options changed all the time, sometimes they came loaded, sometimes there were no options to choose from, all depended on the factory build and supply, etc.
The 'best' model was an SE loaded with extras as it was cheaper than an HSE and by the time you finished it had HSE spec and more except for the diff' lock info on the sat nav screen
Had a mate that had a boggo coil spring cancelled order but with leather, front and rear PDC, bright pack, sat nav, bigger wheels, etc. and rental was cheaper than his previous Mondeo as they 'wanted rid of it'.....
