Have a look at some of nicknick's other posts, quite clearly 'trolling' IMHO, yer, i'm just 'toying' with him, mainly 'cos it's a boring day at work Embarassed

As for Disco3 being biased to off road use & ability..... Can't agree there, in fact I feel that there is a pretty good balance across the members from 'offroad whenever possible' to 'never offroad if at all possible' with the majority perfectly comfortable inhabiting the middle ground. I do think that those who lean toward the 'offroad whenever possible' skew the impression of the site slightly as they (we?) take every opportunity to post photo's of the Disco3 overcoming natures obstacles, difficult to replicate at the other end of the scale as a photo of a Disco3 howling down a motorway with perfect composure would be both difficult to achieve (without a chase vehicle) and wouldn't really show off it's abilities

I am a little disappointed in the 'open season' NickNick taunting that is now evident on this thread. So far, all the main forum users have exercised grown up common sense when the odd thread has become a little heated, and (if as you assert NN is trolling) then you are rising to the bait rather too eagerly.

Just my thoughts - no malice or trolling intended!

in the words of my wise and wonderful nine year old he started it
I'm not a (or going to be) a hardcore offroader. the reason I'm getting the disco is there are places I would like to see and require a 4wd to get there, and if you removed the 4wd stuff then there wouldn't be much point for it's core design and I think would be a different design.

Thanks KL.

I never intended to be a Troll, however because of the banal reponses appear to have become one.

Die hard Land Rover enthusiast I am not. The first decent ROAD car that Land Rover have EVER produced is the Disco 3.

I bet the majority of the "hilarious" posters believe the middle lane on the motorway is not to be used for overtaking.
