I'm with Direct line and Autoglass recently replaced mine - got no issues with it. Done at home and seemed very professional and replaced some necessary trim bits apparently.
Can't tell it from the old one except the heating elements now work and it doesn't say LandRover on it. Oh.... and it doesn't have a hole in it!
Cost I think was £75

With Direct Line you can use AutoGlass and Auto Windscreens. Recent reports form AG appear all good. Had mine done 6 months ago and was impressed.

Thanks Neil, anyone got any clever ways to test the heating elements in the current weather.

make yourself a nice cup of tea and place on a suitable coaster of course on your dashboard, when the area steams up flick the heated windscreen button and see what happens. This also works with coffee Thumbs Up

Autoglass specials are fine, had 1 in each D3 done last winter and they are same (to my eyes) ad OEM. Also they have a lifetime warranty so if they don't work on 1st frost just shout at them (nicely) and they'll change it. Thumbs Up

Just had mine replaced by AutoGlass, no problems at all, they also replaced both outer A pillar trims too because some of the little plastic securing gizmo's were broken and a couple of the locating pegs had broken off.

As has been said before it's branded as Pilkington but without the LR logo, I am led to believe that it's an OEM fitment though so coming with a "lifetime" warranty, I have no issues with it.

Auto Windscreens were supposed to come last Sunday to replace mine.
However the new windscreen managed to get broken so they couldn't come....

It was warm and sunny on Sunday afternoon and I think this must have damaged the glass Rolling Eyes

Must be a run on at the moment, had them out two weeks ago for a chip repair, since then taken a hit somewhere that has led to a large crack in a u shape around the rear view mirror, being replaced on Friday Thumbs Up
