Just had a look at the one they fitted on ours and it's branded 'solarshield'.... Still looks the same tho' and is fitted well I hope

Not wishing ti pi$$ on anyone's chips - but my previous screen was branded "Solarshield" and half the heating elements didn't work Rolling Eyes

Maybe mine was just a duff one but it's worth checking. Clive

My understanding is that the LR branded OEM ones are supplied by Pilkington. Clive

Just had the screen replaced & after all the assurances that they only fit OEM Very Happy

You guest it............solarshield was fitted Evil or Very Mad Censored

Yup, they said to me it was OEM, but solarshield has been fitted. We'll probably find that solarshield supplied about 6 screens to them in 2004 ..... Evil or Very Mad

The tint & surround look different to me as does the heating elements

Does anyone know where the rain sensor is on the windscreen, is it built into the inside mirror.
