Just renewed the Disco insurance as a 2 car policy with the wifes BMW 320 Convertible with Admiral Insurance, both together £620.
Saved around £200 on 2 seperate policies, so definately worth considering.

Renewed mine last month. With Aviva
Its in SWMBO name, me as a named driver and both the kids (28 and 25)
I think it was about £490
I did call the NFU . It was about £650. they will drop as its their centenary year or something but they still hit me with higher than Aviva. I was told this was because my boy is a farm worker - seemed weird seeing he has his own truck.
Stuck with AvivaD4 HSE - Aintree Green

Well had my insurance renewal from Adrian Flux land in my inbox this evening - £945.02. That is £500 more than I was quoted exactly 2 weeks ago when I rang up as a new customer
So, it will be an interesting conversation I have with them tomorrow.
On the plus side a few other online quotes come back as £420, so may move anyway given they are taking the For details on the next Kielder Safari click visit the Kielder Safari website

I'm surprised you're all shocked that your renewal quotes are crap. Surely everyone swaps car/house insurance (and mobile contracts for that matter) at their renewal date as a matter of course. I've never renewed a car insurance policy in 15 years of driving. On several occasions taken out a new policy with the same company. I guess enough people are stupid enough not to shop around that they can put whatever number they like on your renewal because it costs them more to set up a new policy for the same person, and even more to sell a new policy to a new customer.
I use confused.com for my and wife's cars, sticking with companies I've heard of (or at least underwritten by companies I've heard of) and got no complaints.

Just wondering if this means you have only one set of no claims bonus then. If you have an accident protected or not with your spouse will you have to both declare it when getting claims the next year. If you loose your no claims if not protected does that mean both drivers have to start again D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

it's that time of year for me as well. feeling lucky as Direct Line price has gone up £20 to £326 with protected NCD.
couldn't get it below £350 on confused, and that's with a silly excess.

The saga continues with Adrian Flux, they are refusing to take any responsibility for advising us that our no claims would be retained and are absolving themselves on the pretext it was a typing error.
How nice to live in a world where you dont have to shoulder any responsibility for your business inadequacies
They have however written me a letter saying that they asked me for the wrong excess and they owe me £50 refund, and if I accept this payment they will consider the case closed...
I have instructed the Ombudsman ...so I will let you know the outcome next year i would imagine
We did however manage to get insured with zero NCB with the Cooperative but only because we have home company and motorbike insurance with them at least there was a human being at the end of the line who listened to our case and told us we would get a refund if we secured our NCB later in the year.
Premium £1110 fully comp, 3 points, central london, which is less than half the £2500 adrian Flux wanted for the same product
