I'll check then before getting the parts.
Do you think it may be that new D3s didn't have the loom plugs fitted possibly

I have no idea. Everyone was sure that I would have the connector there. The other option I was given was to run a 7 core cable to the rear PDC control box and make my own little loom to get it all working HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Think land rover made a mistake they have fitted the plug to my 07 xs. It's the first time I have found a mod that might be able to be done.
IanNP do you still have the part numbers for all the bits.
Is there a off switch on the dash or are the on all the time?

I've been looking to do the same to my 08 GS. I have rear sensors and module but only have the fog light connector behind the headlight. Looks like Land Rover changed there minds at some point. Anyone ever changed the loom rather than running extra wire from the module?

Mine is funny. I have a 2006 D3 Irish Commercial... it has no front fogs, no rear PDC and no front PDC.
BUT there are both connectors behind the headlight for the fogs and front PDC.
Can you have front PDC without having rear PDC? I guess I need to have a look whether the PDC module is there, and if there's the loom for the rear PDC... Dennis

Errr maybe not then!! I will look at running extra wires from module or will just have to live with not having them. Which loom is it? Doesn't look like the main chassis loom and too big for engine loom. What did you have to do to change it? Just bumper and lights removed?

Decided to bite the bullet and fitted front pdc not a bad job the only problem i found was only one of the bezels had the same locating bumps as the markings on the back of the bumper so a bit of guess work was involved in fitting them at the right angle.
I havent had it activated yet so don't know if it even works and at £397 it could be a big white elephant on the front of the car.

I am also looking to fit the front park sensors and fogs. I have the needed loom already in the car so just looking for,
Front sensors and surrounds
Front fogs and surrounds
And the bumper loom.
If anyone has any bits they are looking to sell please drop me a line.

Don't forget you will need to replace the light switch in the cabin.
It is ridiculously priced if bought new from LR (something like £80!! ) Dennis

Thanks for that and yes That's about the right price having spoken to TLO (we shall miss him) but am guessing that as I do not have the auto lights I will probably have to just bite the bullet and buy a new one. Most others have the auto selection position on. At least I can enable it myself.

Unfortunately there are no light switches with front fog lights but without auto lights. So you will have to fit the switch and live with the "AUTO" position being non functional. That's the way it is for me at the moment and it does annoy me somewhat, but I have a plan to make this work using an aftermarket kit. Dennis

It is the front end wiring loom. Goes from the CJB, to the front crash sensor/FBH/headlight/washer bottle on one side, down the N/S/F wheelarch to the suspension/EPB wiring of the chassis loom. Up to the heated washer jets and wiper motor, ABS module, RLM module, throttle pedal wiring, down the O/S/F wheel arch, into the chassis loom for the fuel tank, and upto the other side headlight/crash sensor/PDC + Fog lights, and on to the horns
Was a fairly big job. My D3 Build Thread
