Assuming you have the rear parking sensors (SE), then yes - the plug should be there.

You'll need to get them activated though....do a search for Wiggs or 10forCash - either will be able to sort it out for you easily. Thumbs Up

There are two plugs below the drivers headlamp. One is for the driving lamps the other is for the front PDC.
You will need to change the loom in the bumper for one with PDC.
Also four PDC sensors (all the same) and four fitting bezels.
The front bumper needs to come off and then drill the holes for the PDC sensors.
Once ftted the CCF will need updating, either Land Rover or Wiggs can do it for you.
There is no kit, you have to get all the parts 1 by 1.
I have all the part numbers cost was around £200 new.

Not strictly true. My 2008.5 has rear PDC but the plug is not in the front. I checked and TFC confirmed this when he fitted the after market front PDC for me.

Actually it is true....I checked the OPs profile before posting which showed him as having a 2005 D3 as does his message....

...which would mean that it is almost certain he would have the required connector Thumbs Up

Is it necessary to fit all four sensors? Would it the system work with two only? Obviously coverage would be a bit reduced.

You will have to fit all four sensors in the correct possitions Exclamation
If you don't then you will just get the error tone.

The pic shows the PDC front connector (red) and the front fog lamps connector (blue).
They are below the front driver headlamp and you can just see them without removing the headlamp.

Arrow If you have front fog lamps and rear PDC the loom should be there.

I will dig out the paperwork with the part no's.
From memory you need:
two inner bezels
Two outer bezels
Four sensors
wiring loom

When you take off the front bumper if look closely the plastic is marked with an 'x' where you need to drill.
Make sure you have the two connectors as shown, rule of thumb is if you have front driving lamps it should be there and wired all the way back to the PDC module which is mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle by the rear door slam panel.

I've wanted this on my D3 for some time now.

Is there a definitive list available for the parts required for anybody wanting to do the upgrade from scratch Question

Thanks

Make sure the connector is there. I've just sold my D3, 07/57 XS, I had rear PDC and front fogs but no front PDC connector. So it was a non starter for me Sad
