Please explain/draw EXACTLY where to use a trolley jack

WHere Exactly are the Jacking Points when usingTrolley Jack?

I'm coming on the Peak District weekend. In preparation for this I'm going to:
1. Buy a trolley jack and torque wrench, and
2. Swap my 19" road wheels/tyres for 17inchers with Cooper STTs
and then swap them back after. Sounds simple.

The problem is that I've never jacked the D3 up with a trolley jack and don't know the best jacking points for front and rear that won't damage me underbits.

Can someone please explain/draw EXACTLY where to use a trolley jack for front and read wheels? please make it idiot proof.

I use my trolley jack at the same chassis points that the scissor jack fits into.

Remember to put wheel chocks under the wheels on the opposite side and pop a axle stand under once you've jacked it up before removing the wheel

Additionally...

Make sure you buy a trolley jack with enough lift, mine does about 500mm ISTR. Get a quick-lift one if you can - less 'pumping' Very Happy
The STTs are slightly oversize so jack it up a bit more than you need to get the road tyres off otherwise you'll struggle to get the STTs on Wink
Put your D3 into off-road height before you start

The jacking points should be shown in the handbook if you're not sure where they are

Once you've done it a few times you'll find you can do all 4 in about 20 mins

I was advised by a technician from Land Rover Assistance to jack up from under the suspension points, in order to avoid having to jack up the 3 feet or so necessary to take up the movement in the air suspension. Seems a sensible idea!
 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 7 seater. Leather, DVD, fully colour-coded.
