About a year ago I became aware that Ford was sourcing ancillaries for the 3.0 engine for the Territory.

If they fit the 3.0 TDV6 to the Territory and leave it in D4 tune it will be an awesome thing. Discovery 4 SE Long range fuel tank Kaymar Rear Bar.

In Poland, realers made 3 weeks ago promotional - discounted prife for 2,7 HSE D4 - discount frum 65 kEUR to 50 kEUR for HSE. It looks like factory wants to sell all 2,7 engines.

I checked with a dealer here in Australia and he said that absolutely they're not going to drop the 2.7. But he did have the silly look on his face that suggested he might need to check after I left!!!

2.7 is stopping in Europe due to Eu5 regs (Eu4, i.e. 2.7, is not allowed for sale after September 2010). 2.7 will continue for ROW (Rest Of World).
Presume LR are stopping 2.7's in Europe now just to make sure none are stuck in the pipeline. Disco 5 HSE Lux

2.7 will be dropped on 11MY. 3.0 210bhp available for commercials (auto only) and 3.0 245bhp for standard D4\Sport. 245bhp engine will a £1000 extra on commercials.
Also 3.6TDV8 will be dropped on 11MY.

Is that for all the world or europe only? Australia in particular...
the 2.7 is the only reason i'm not upgrading my TDV6Sd3 to a d4. Disco 2 TD5 "Good"
Disco 3 TDV6 "Better"
Disco 4 HSE SDV6 "Best"
The older I get, the better I was.

I've recently learnt that the Territory is initially at least being fitted with the 2.7. My SIL has seen under the bonnet of one.
